A little change can go a long way...in the wrong direction. Licensing companies can make a huge difference in our favorite media nowadays. Their word, more often than not, is law; Anime and manga companies either put up with it or their series doesn't show in America, much to our dismay. This radical shift in messing with content has become synonymous with 4Kids! Entertainment, but can be found in many more forms in works from other companies as well, but because it is so overdone by 4Kids alone, we're calling it "The 4Kids Effect".
